The campaign logic, meaning lists, steps, delays and stopping on a reply, is ordinary code that an agent writes in a weekend. What Waalaxy sells is the part you shouldn't build: software that acts on your LinkedIn account for you, inside quotas it tunes against LinkedIn's detection. LinkedIn bans third-party automation and answers with warnings and restricted accounts, and your own bot carries the same risk with no tuning behind it. A personal replacement ends up as a manual-assist tracker, not an automation.
Before you buildWaalaxy's Freemium tier allows 3 actions a day per type. It is enough to try a sequence on a few prospects before you pay.
Build me a personal LinkedIn outreach tracker to replace Waalaxy. Requirements:
- Node.js 22 + TypeScript: a Fastify API and a React UI built with Vite. `npm start` serves
http://localhost:4840.
- Hard rule: the app never logs into, scrapes or drives LinkedIn, because LinkedIn forbids
third-party automation. Every LinkedIn step is a task for me to do by hand in my own browser;
the app only queues tasks and records what I did. Say this at the top of the README.
- Storage: better-sqlite3 in ./data/outreach.db: prospects (name, normalized profile URL, company,
title, optional email, tags, opt-out flag), campaigns with ordered steps (visit profile,
invite with note, message after accept, follow-up after N days, email), enrollments with the
next due date, an activity log and notes.
- Import and export: CSV through `papaparse`, columns mapped by header, duplicates found by
profile URL, a preview with counts before anything is written; import a Waalaxy "Export" CSV
the same way; CSV export of every table.
- Today view: due tasks per campaign, each with the profile link, the message rendered from
templates ({{firstName}}, {{company}}, {a|b|c} variants) and a copy button, plus Done, Skipped,
Replied and Not interested. Daily caps per action type (default 20 invites, 30 messages)
grey out the rest of the queue once reached.
- Sequence rules: step dates count working days; a reply stops the sequence; a date range for
holidays pushes due tasks back. Weekly stats from the log: invites sent, accepted, replied
per campaign.
- Email step, optional: nodemailer SMTP for prospects with an email and no opt-out, at most 30 a
day, each message with a one-line unsubscribe sentence and a sent log.
- Single user. No accounts, no telemetry, local-first. Outbound calls: SMTP only.
- Out of scope: automating or scraping LinkedIn, email finding, a browser extension, team
features, inbox sync.
- README: the .env keys, why the daily caps are low, and a note that emailing people in the EU
needs a legal basis; this is not legal advice.Opens your agent with the prompt filled in, you press enter. Or copy it and paste it into an empty folder.
The first prompt builds the core. Run these one at a time in the same folder to grow it into your own Waalaxy.
Add a reply tracker to the outreach tracker in this folder. Requirements: - On a prospect, log each reply with a date, a pasted excerpt and an outcome: interested, later, not now, not interested. - "Later" asks for a follow-up date and creates a task in the Today view on that day. - "Not interested" sets the opt-out flag and removes every pending step for that prospect. - A page listing prospects whose last reply is older than 14 days with no next task. - Update the README.
Add a template library to the outreach tracker in this folder. Requirements:
- Named templates per step type with {{firstName}}, {{company}} and {a|b|c} variants; a preview
against any prospect.
- Warn when an invite note is over 300 characters or a placeholder has no value.
- Count sent and replied per template version from the log and show the reply rate once a
version has 20 sends.
- Editing a template creates a new version; old versions stay attached to past activity.
- Update the README.Add a CRM export to the outreach tracker in this folder. Requirements: - One-click CSV of prospects marked interested, with the columns HubSpot and Pipedrive imports accept (name, email, company, job title, LinkedIn URL, notes). - Include the last three activity entries in the notes column. - Mark exported prospects so they can be skipped next time, and allow re-export on request. - Update the README.
Manual outreach is an hour a day of opening profiles and pasting messages, and Waalaxy turns it into a campaign that runs while you work, for €19 a month. Buyers accept the account risk because Waalaxy's own guidance is to start low, stay under its quotas and stop after a warning. They are paying for that tuning and the finder credits, not for the sequencing.
Estimate · Runs on your own machine and sends nothing on LinkedIn; SMTP at 30 emails a day fits free tiers. The build is token usage on your agent plan.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freemium | $0/user | $0/user | 3 actions per day for each type of action (invitations, messages, visits), per Waalaxy's limits article. |
| Pro | $19/user | $9.50/user | 300 LinkedIn invitations a month, unlimited campaigns, pre-built sequences, automated follow-ups, CRM sync, CSV import and export, 25 email finder credits a month, team collaboration tools. |
| Advanced | $49/user | $24.50/user | 800 LinkedIn invitations a month, everything in Pro, API access, Make, Zapier and n8n modules, 4-hour live chat support. |
| Business | $69/user | $34.50/user | Everything in Advanced plus cold email sequences, LinkedIn plus email campaigns, 500 email finder credits a month, multi-account import, unified payment and a team workspace. |
Waalaxy's own limits article describes a Freemium tier capped at 3 actions a day per action type; the pricing page doesn't list it, and the paid plans come with a 14-day free trial.
Not really. The prompt on this page builds the closest honest substitute.
About $19 a month on the Pro plan per seat, $228 a year (checked 2026-10-19).
Invitations, messages and profile visits sent for you in the background; Quotas tuned to LinkedIn's limits and the account-age rules Waalaxy applies; Email finder credits and the data behind them; CRM sync with thousands of tools, and the Make, Zapier and n8n modules; Cold email sequences, multichannel campaigns and the LinkedIn Inbox add-on. If any of those matter to you, keep paying.
