A personal scheduler and a post-analytics table for one account is a weekend: OAuth to X, a queue with a worker, metrics pulled from the API and a small dashboard. The catch is X's API, now sold pay-per-use: a post costs $0.015 to create, $0.20 if it carries a link, and reading your own data costs $0.001 a resource. A text-only account stays in cents, while a link-heavy schedule does not. SuperX's other half is data and automation you can't rebuild from your own account: the 10M-post viral library, lead-finding agents, auto-DMs and reply suggestions.
Before you buildSuperX has no free plan, only a trial. Buffer Free schedules 10 posts per channel on up to 3 channels, X included, before you build anything.
Build me a personal X scheduler and post analytics page to replace SuperX. Requirements: - Node.js 22 + TypeScript: a Fastify server with Eta pages and a worker loop in the same process. `npm start` serves http://localhost:4950: the queue at / and analytics at /stats. - Storage: better-sqlite3 in ./data/x.db: drafts, scheduled posts (text, media paths, scheduled_at in UTC, status), published posts (X post id), metric snapshots and API usage rows. - Auth: OAuth 2.0 with PKCE through `twitter-api-v2`, X_CLIENT_ID and X_CLIENT_SECRET in .env, one X account; keep the tokens in SQLite and refresh them before use. - Scheduler: every minute, post what is due. Set status to posting inside a transaction first so a restart never double-posts; retry three times with backoff and show failures in the queue. - Composer: threads (replies chained), a 280-character counter with X's weighting (`twitter-text`), up to four images, times entered and shown in my time zone (`luxon`). - Analytics: each day, fetch metrics for my posts from the last 30 days through owned reads and store a snapshot; a sortable table (impressions, likes, replies, link clicks where returned) and a chart of average impressions by hour of day. - Spend guard: log every API call, estimate month-to-date cost from X's published prices ($0.015 per post, $0.20 per post with a link, $0.001 per owned read) and stop calling X when MONTHLY_API_BUDGET_USD in .env is reached. - Single user. No accounts, no telemetry, local-first. Outbound calls: the X API only. - Out of scope: AI writing, auto-DMs, lead finding, a viral library, several accounts, Bluesky. - README: creating the X developer app and buying credits, the callback URL, running under pm2 or systemd, and a warning that a post with a link costs $0.20 to create.
Opens your agent with the prompt filled in, you press enter. Or copy it and paste it into an empty folder.
The first prompt builds the core. Run these one at a time in the same folder to grow it into your own SuperX.
Add a SuperX importer to the scheduler in this folder. Requirements: - A command `x import-superx <file>` that reads JSON from `superx posts:analytics --since <date>` or the GET /v1/posts/analytics endpoint, and prints the keys it found first. - Store each post with its X post id, text, date and metrics as an imported snapshot. - Skip posts already present; running twice changes nothing. - A second command that reads the scheduled-posts JSON from GET /v1/scheduled-posts and recreates the queue in my time zone, with a dry run. - Update the README with how to create a SuperX API key and the 60-reads-a-minute limit.
Add posting-time suggestions to the scheduler in this folder. Requirements: - From the stored snapshots, compute average impressions per weekday and hour in my time zone. - Ignore any weekday and hour with fewer than five posts, and say so on the page. - Show the top three slots and let me schedule a draft into one with a click. - Write the calculation as a pure function with tests for ties and empty data. - Update the README.
Add Bluesky cross-posting to the scheduler in this folder. Requirements: - BSKY_HANDLE and BSKY_APP_PASSWORD in .env, using `@atproto/api`. - A per-post checkbox that also posts to Bluesky when the X post goes out; threads map to reply chains. - Split text that is over 300 characters at sentence breaks and attach images within Bluesky's size limit. - A failure on one network never blocks the other; show each result in the queue. - Update the README.
Add evergreen recycling to the scheduler in this folder. Requirements: - Mark any published post as evergreen from the stats table. - Every Monday, propose up to three evergreen posts not published in the last 90 days, ranked by impressions, as drafts in the queue; nothing posts without my approval. - Skip posts that look time-sensitive (a date, today, this week), judged by a keyword list in the code. - Update the README.
Creators on X pay to save time and to grow: one subscription covers scheduling, an AI writer that keeps their tone, engagement prompts and analytics, and nobody has to buy API credits or watch a posting queue.
Estimate · A $5 VPS plus X API usage at $0.015 per post, $0.20 per post with a link and $0.001 per read of your own data. A text-only account posting 30 times a month spends about $1 to $2; 100 link posts add $20. The build is token usage on your agent plan.

No free plan: the page offers a free trial whose length it doesn't state.
Kinda. The core is a weekend build with the prompt on this page, but real gaps remain: The 10M+ viral post library and niche trend discovery, Signal Agents that find leads, and auto-DMs to people who engage.
About $49 a month on the Pro plan, $588 a year (checked 2026-10-19).
The 10M+ viral post library and niche trend discovery; Signal Agents that find leads, and auto-DMs to people who engage; Engage: suggested replies and a mentions hub; The Chrome extension that shows insights on other people's profiles; Cross-posting to Bluesky and AI covers for X Articles. If any of those matter to you, keep paying.
